I’m very happy with the service I received from Prime Plumbing. I got quotes from a few other companies, and they were all about $3,000 higher than Prime’s estimate. I even reached out to see if the others could match Prime’s price — and when they agreed, I knew Prime’s quote was fair and accurate. Tim was extremely helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly. He also understood my financial situation, especially since I had already spent money repairing the inside pipe. He knew fixing the outside section was not optional and made the process stress-free. If you ever have any plumbing issues, I highly recommend giving them a call. We had a minor backup in our townhouse sewer line after living there for 30+ years. We used the Howard County Checkbook to identify some candidate plumbing companies and decided on Prime Plumbing. Called left message that evening, heard back early next morning, and arrived quickly. Jason the technician did a great job asked by questions, understanding the problem and getting to work fix the problem. Took about 2+ hours from start to finish: diagnosis, auger, test, and finally do a Fiber Optic inspection to verify everything was fine! Robert Richter and Anthony Grantland deserve a raise for dealing with our HOA. They were able to calmly and quickly work with them to get the external water shutoff so that they could replace the main water valve and PRC in a swift manner. Without them, I would have lost my mind dealing with the HOA with getting this work done. 5 stars out 5 will hire Prime again!

Came to fix leaking toilet from the tank. Long story short, to expensive to repair. Will buy new toilet from HD and have installed. Was charged $200, for call out service. Was misunderstood of cost. Was quoted $89 for call out diagnosis. Call out waived if work is done. No work done but charged $200.

I give 5 stars for service, professionalism, and patience while doing the job. Ernie and his training / daughter work very well together and communicated clearly what was needed as well as what they were offering has a replacement for the garbage disposal. They were a very good team and represented the company well. There was no pressure or aggressiveness concerning the job.The only reason I gave four stars was because it was a little more than what I expected to pay but I didn't even try to get any other quotes from anyone else. I was able to get $25 coupon that is offered online for garbage disposals when I called in have to accepting the job. They made sure there was no leaks at the initially seeing a little took time to make sure that it was no water and that everything was sealed properly.Ernie offered their maintenance program which I signed up for and it gave me a 10% off discount would save me $77. they gave me a walk through inspection with suggested work in the future. I would recommend them at least come out and give you an estimate.

Review for Prime Plumbing After dealing with three plumbers in two days who all insisted I had a septic issue, I was beyond frustrated. The septic company assured me there was nothing wrong on their end and even told me, half-jokingly, to find a plumber who actually knew what they were doing. Prime Plumbing stood out from the beginning. Unlike the others, they actually answered the phone when I called. I set a same-day appointment, and although I was disappointed when the office called back to reschedule for the following day, I appreciated their professionalism. They kept me updated with status calls every couple of hours until the technician arrived at my door. That kind of communication is rare. When Ibrahim arrived, he made an excellent first impression with a firm handshake and by immediately putting on protective booties without being asked. He quickly identified multiple issues contributing to my problem and presented me with a clear solution and written price within minutes. Called on Friday, got an appointment for Monday. The guy came out to give me a quote and ended up doing the work the same day. He was super helpful and straightforward and quoted me $500 less than the other company I talked to that rhymes with Sven the Plumber and the quality of the work is awesome. Just updating. Had two clogged sinks and two bidet attachments needing installation. Called on Wednesday and got an appointment for the next day. Jordan was prompt, personable, upfront, knowledgeable and, as per usual, quoted me a very reasonable price. Really have yet to have anything but a stellar experience with these folks.

I had the pleasure of having Jason Slade from Prime Plumbimg fix my clogged kitchen sink. He was professional, polite and skilled. My sink was fixed and left in a clean presentable condition. The water heater stopped working a week after moving into my new house and a Google search led me to Prime Plumbing. I am so glad I found them. The technician, Dave, clearly and pleasantly explained to us what went wrong and what needed to be done. He returned with Dom the next day and they quickly replaced it. Now we have hot water and even understand how the thing works! Thanks guys!

Prime Plumbing was great to work with in remedying a persistent sewage backup problem. After identifying the exact spot, they submitted the lowest bid to remedy it. They had to replace a pipe under a concrete entrance. They did this within two business days of my accepting their bid, finished in under 2 1/2 hours, and replaced the plantings they had to remove.

Jason was great and took care of our issues quickly. The cost was higher than I anticipated but I had to be on work calls while he was in my home and he definitely made me feel at ease. Issue has been resolved. I would highly recommend Prime and especially Jason.

Prime gave me several quotes for my issue with my water heater, were very respectful and did not talk down to me at all. I got some education on my system and best ways to maintain my system on my own. A new water heater was installed within the day for an acceptable price.

Worked with Garrett and Jake at Prime Plumbing for a main water line leak. I was so impressed with how kind, knowledgeable, concerned and friendly they both were. Garrett handled everything inside. Was patient with his work. Took great care in cleaning up after himself and explaining everything he did. Even adjusting my water pressure and making future recommendations on items to address and look out for in the future. Jake handled the outside. I was most nervous about my front yard needing to be trenched (I have a beautiful Japanese Maple and rock garden right in the path) and Jake was able to manipulate perfectly between the two minimizing any unnecessary damage. And once the water main was replaced he filled the dirt back in and stamped it down, laid grass seed and hay down. Jake took the time and attention for my front yard to minimize any future work I would need to do. I was genuinely impressed with my entire experience with this team. And they were able to complete the work in the same day (without rushing). They are just that good at their jobs. I recommend Prime Plumbing for any underground plumbing needs! Great team! I called Prime based on prior reviews, and for a failed water heater that was actively leaking significant amounts of water. They dispatched a technician (Bryan) the same day to triage the problem. Bryan explained the problem and solution in clear terms and set up an appointment for the following day. He showed up on time and started the installation (up to current code as well) of the new water heater. Everything went well, looks great and was a good price.

Ron did a good job of explaining what he was doing and why it needed to be done. He was professional as well as personable. I appreciated that once our new water heater was installed he walked me through the steps of yearly maintenance so I could keep it up myself.

I am the tenant, so I had no input as to what company was chosen for this job. So I want to say thank you to my landlord for choosing Prime Plumbing. The technicians Garrett and Erik were amazing. They arrived on time and ready to get the job done. They were personable and professional in both there attitudes and work. I was surprised at how neat and tidy my house and lawn were at completion. Came out on a holiday to replace a water line. Worked super fast and clean. Got water back to house. They fixed an issue with the fence and made sure all concrete was the way it should be. Jordan and Jake were awesome and Tim helped coordinate everything amazingly. Would highly recommend. Price was competitive even with the smaller companies.

Had an issue with sump pump constantly cycling. Older unit (15+ years) that needed replacement. Rob was on time, professional, able to diagnose and replace the sump pump all within a span of two hours. Unit immediately up and working, stress free. All in cost was around 1 k.

I contacted Prime to replace 2 house bibs, a shut off valve and replace some copper lines. Willie showed up at my house on time and even gave me a heads up he was on the way. He gave me a quote for the work and got right to it once I gave him the okay. He kept me in the loop throughout the whole process, he was polite, had a great attitude, and did GREAT work. The next time I need plumbing work done I will absolutely call Prime and ask for Willie!

I had an underground leak between my house and the street. Tim from Prime Plumbing did a great job assessing the problem and provided excellent communication throughout the process. Garrett and Eric on Tim's team did an expert job not only making all the repairs, which included digging up concrete and drilling holes into the foundation, but also made sure to leave the job area tidy and clean. They also finished the whole project in half the number of hours they had originally quoted. I was very pleased with the experience from start to finish. They also worked to ensure my insurance would cover the repairs, which took a big effort from their back office.

May 2025 Another stellar plumbing experience with Prime Plumbing. Prime came the same day for a water line break when the insurance-recommended plumber’s appointment would have made us wait 6 days without water. Willie’s plumbing expertise was impressive. He quickly isolated the problem, identified potential serious issues with an adjacent water line, and gave us clearly explained and very reasonable options for the complex repair. Throughout the 2-day job, he kept us informed and left the work area as clean as if this was his own home. Willie and Prime Plumbing supervisors treated us as valuable customers, not as dollar signs. We cannot recommend Willie and Prime Plumbing highly enough. May 2024 Absolutely top notch service. Fixed the insurance-authorized problem. Additionally, identified an unrelated problem with a recently installed vanity plumbing not covered by insurance (installer’s work not up to code). Prime Plumbing approved estimate was very reasonable. Jordan professionally and quickly brought vanity plumbing up to code. Prime Plumbing is now our go-to plumbing firm. Mar 2024 Jordan inspected our guest room plumbing for potential leaks before rehab company repairs walls and tile. Jordan identified the tub & shower poorly installed by the builder. Although not leaking now, due to many water problems with this house, we had Jordan replace the pipes, and install upgraded tub & shower water control—very fair price. His estimate was spot on. From now on, we will use Jordan and Prime Plumbing for any plumbing issues! We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Ernie and Haileigh did an amazing job! Brand new water heater installed and got a new gas line installed all in a space the size of a broom closet!

Robert did a thorough job and fixed what we needed. He explained everything well and left no mess. The cost was a bit higher than expected but that is set by Prime.

We had a persistent ceiling leak that we just couldn’t identify. Franklin came out, quickly found the root of the issue, and fully replaced everything that was needed. He took his time, was extremely polite, and provided top-notch customer service. Very knowledgeable and even offered helpful recommendations for future maintenance. I got a new water heater today and Wes and Dominique were fantastic. Wes is a wealth of information and such a friendly person. Installation was fast and simple and the area was neat and orderly when complete (which means a lot to me). He gave me a lesson on how to flush it every year. All this and a great price too. I highly recommend Prime Plumbing.

Prime Plumbing came to do a tank flush and found a slow pipe leak (with puddles) we were not aware of. Ouu hot water tank and pipes are in a crawl space that we don't go into often. Frankin, the PP plumber was able to fix the leak the same day (with a 1 year warranty) and threw in the flush for free. He also checked all the other pipes and our sump backup and gave me a summary of what to keep an eye on. All this while I was picking up my hubby from the hospital and our 6 month old puppy was running around. Franklin is AWESOME - very professional and answered all my quetions. i really have peace of mind when Prime Plumbing does the work, highly recommend them if you need plumbing work.

Excellent service! We experienced a plumbing emergency on a Saturday evening and Prime Plumbing had a crew out the next morning. Dave, our technician, almost single-handedly fixed every issue both in and outside the house. On top of that- he was knowledgeable, personable, and managed to turn a bad situation into a learning experience. My wife and I (plus Zelda) are incredibly grateful to Dave and the team.
