Dave Sizemore was excellent from start to finish on a major job - whole house hot/water pipe installation to reroute via attic. He is knowledgeable and professional, and he explained every step of the job in detail. Hailey Boyce, was his apprentice. They made a great team. Rob provided excellent service. I needed a new water maker shut-off valve installed. Rob evaluated the situation and provided me with solutions. The work was done quickly and cleanly. Rob also provided me with knowledge about my home and gave me some ideas and suggestions. Very satisfied.

Dave was friendly and got my stuck tub spout removed immediately, trimmed the copper pipe correctly and had the new spout installed in less than 10 minutes. Would definitely call this place again for plumbing needs. So glad to have my shower back!

Bryan Reece was the plumber who repaired our leak. He was knowledgeable & professional. Everything seems to be working well. We’re still waiting for our ceiling drywall to be replaced, but that should be happening soon.

As always PRIME PLUMBING never disappoints when it comes to professionalism for service, knowledge and trust for a job well done. Professional Plumber Ron Green arrived yesterday to install a water line to our new fridge. Ron was on time, explained all details necessary, presented a cost quote and had everything up and running and back in place, pronto! Everyone at Prime Plumbing is exceptional because that’s what the staff at Prime Plumbing represent but we’re keeping Ron Green’s name on file should plumbing needs arise in future. My father recently had plumbing work completed by Ron and his apprentice after first receiving a very poor estimate and experience from another company, and the difference was night and day. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and with care. The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of the work went above and beyond what was expected. My father is extremely difficult to please, and he has not stopped talking about how impressed he was. Ron and his apprentice completed the work efficiently, kept him informed throughout the entire process, and took the time to do everything right. Even the staff on the phone were friendly and helpful, which made the entire experience that much better. It is rare to find a company that delivers excellent workmanship, professionalism, and genuine customer service all in one. If you are in need of a plumber, look no further than Prime Plumbing. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Had a backed up main drain this morning, New Years day! Called in at 930am and Ibrahim was at my house by 11. He did a great job, worked very clean and professionally. Got the main cleared and wrapped up pretty quickly. First time using Prime but i was very pleased with the response and service. Will use again.

Professional service and quality work

Willie and Dominique (hope I spelled that right!) are a great team. They were professional, honest and friendly. I appreciate their skill and highly recommend them.

Rob Richter from Prime Plumbing came to install our dishwasher when Home Depot bailed on us due to finding (older style) push pull valves under our sink. Rob came and upgraded all our valves for the price of one and then installed our dishwasher. He also hauled our old dishwasher away for no extra charge! Rob stayed with us for several hours making sure the fitting was correct, checked for leaks, and even helped sus out some pressure problems in the house on his own time. He taught me about the new valves and how to problem solve pressure issues in the future. We offered him pizza and coffee not only because he was working hard but he did so on Xmas eve. Definitely will be calling prime plumbing again for all our future plumbing needs from annual county mandated checkups to future work! Thanks Rob! Merry Christmas and happy new year!

We had two plumbers from Prime Plumbing at our home over the past two days, and they were outstanding! Ernie and Hayleigh were on time, communicated clearly, and kept us informed throughout the work. They let us know when they were taking lunch and gave advance notice anytime they needed to shut off the water or gas, which we really appreciated. They clearly take pride in their work and in providing options, which matters a lot in our 95-year-old home where surprises and challenges are common. They wore clean foot coverings every time they entered and left each work areas spotless. We also appreciated that they proactively pointed out other plumbing issues, explained them clearly, and asked if we wanted them addressed, without ever being pushy. One example was our main bathroom sink, which they noticed, explained, and fixed the same day. There is no more unpleasant drain smell! Ernie and Hayleigh were professional, respectful, and easy to work with. Our dog loved them too! We hope to get them again the next time we call Prime Plumbing, and after this experience, we would not consider calling any other company. Thank you, Ernie and Hayleigh!

Jordan was amazing with his expertise, communication and professionalism. He worked diligently on the sewer cleanup and explained everything patiently throughout the process. He did a good job by limiting the amount of digging and cleaned up well after him. Would highly recommend.

Prime plumbing in Baltimore, prompt, efficient and reasonable price.

It's taken me a while to write a review with two young kids- but i wanted to make sure i shared what a wonderful experience we had using Prime Plumbing. We had a sewer line back up in our basement (yuck) and i had multiple plumbers come out and give quotes on digging up and replacing our old copper sewer line with pvc. Tim impressed me from day 1 and stood out amongst the others with his confidence and expertise in what our options were, what to expect from the whole process, etc. They dug up our lawn (8 ft deep, approx 40 ft long) and i am so happy with how they managed to put it all back together. I can't take a current picture of it now because our yard is covered with snow, but 2 months later you'd hardly be able to tell we had a trench dug up. We were quoted around the same price by another company who said they would need to tear out our retaining brick wall and also said they'd leave piles of dirt, and that the grass seed/hay would cost extra!! Also, Prime managed to get this all done in 1 day. Not to mention, we got to keep our beautiful maple tree! This is the only tree in our yard and our kids love swinging on it so while i was ready to give it up if need be, i was going to be a little devastated. Only a few days after my initial consultation with Tim, we had a brand new sewer line! We are so happy we found a good, reliable & trustworthy company to make us feel better about forking over a pretty penny on a hidden (but very crucial) repair. Thank you Prime Plumbing!

[UPDATE: RESOLVED] I'm updating this review to reflect that Prime Plumbing has owned up to the situation and made it right. Once my new toilet arrived, they returned and completed the installation at no additional cost to me. The 5-stars are for Ernie and Hailey who handled the final install, and they were a complete 180 from my previous experience. They were awesome, professional, and sociable. You could tell they actually enjoy their work and take pride in it. They got the job done right. While the road to get here was frustrating, I appreciate the company standing by their work and sending the right team to finish the job. [OLD REVIEW] I hired Prime Plumbing to fix a toilet leak, and after 4 visits and hundreds of dollars, I had to do their work for them. Here is the timeline of negligence: March 27, 2025 (Invoice #90891): I paid an $89 trip fee to have a technician come out. He did a visual glance without even lifting the toilet and told me "nothing was wrong." The leak continued. Nov 1, 2025 (Invoice #97073): I paid $634.56 for a "Toilet Pull and Reset" (Service Code TUR-110). The invoice states they would "prepare the mounting system." They claimed the issue was a decayed wax seal (after initially guessing "condensation"). They did not inspect the toilet for cracks, but they didn't miss the opportunity to try and upsell me a new water heater. The leak continued. Nov 24, 2025 (Return Call): When they came back, the technician tried to blame "condensation" again and claimed "these electric toilets aren't reliable", again making excuses. He replaced the wax seal again without inspecting the toilet. Nov 30, 2025: The leak returned. Before booking them again, I spent 1.5 hours doing what they should've done. I replicated the leak and reached behind the toilet to feel the failure point. I felt the wax ring and—crucially—I felt plastic obstructing the seal. Dec 1, 2025 (Invoice #97936 Return Call): The tech arrived, and I told him what I found. He told me, "That's impossible... Show me how you did it. Show me this magic." I had to literally get on the floor and prove it to him. I ABSOLUTELY should not have had to do his job for him. He then complained about how he "can't keep coming out here" and is "losing money." Completely unprofessional. He finally pulls the toilet up, actually inspects it, and finds a crack. He sounded gleeful showing it to me, acting like this vindicated his misdiagnosis. He then told me I need to pay a third time to have a new toilet installed. THE REALITY: Did he inspect it the first time? If he did and saw no crack, then he caused the crack by mishandling the toilet. Did he not inspect it? Then the crack was there the whole time, and due to his incompetence, he misdiagnosed the issue for months while taking my money. I paid premium pricing for a professional diagnosis and fix. Instead, I got laziness in March, incompetence in November, disrespect in December, and an issue that wasn't fixed. Now they want more money to fix the issue they likely caused. Avoid this company unless you want to do the plumbing yourself after paying the bill. When my new toilet arrives, I will be reaching out to them to complete the install of the toilet at no additional cost to myself (I am not asking for a refund on the cost of a toilet, just want them to install it properly.) Otherwise, this is definitely going to be a complaint to the MHIC.

Ernie and Hailey are absolute legends! I cannot say enough good things about Ernie and Hailey! I hired them to install a new toilet, and they turned what is usually a mundane maintenance appointment into a genuinely great experience. From the moment they arrived, the service was top-tier. They were incredibly professional and got the installation done flawlessly, but what really stood out was their attitude. They were sociable, friendly, and you could tell they actually have fun on the job. They have a great dynamic and brought such positive energy into my home while working. It is rare to find a team that combines expert workmanship with such a great "vibe." If you need plumbing work done and want it done right by good people, ask for Ernie and Hailey. 10/10 would recommend!

Tim at Prime got me out of a bad situation. His team worked carefully and hard to complete the project. I had a total sewer line replacement and there were obstacles for Tim and Prime, but they kept me aware of the situation and rerouted everything as to not damage my porch. I am in a high water table area with broken clay, lots of sand and silt...but they reworked everything and I would not only endorse them but I would use them again in a heartbeat. Tim was honest and upfront with me. I couldn't have asked for more. I think these photos speak for themselves. I could add more but this was a difficult project and they more than met my expectations!

I originally hired Prime to install a refrigerator water line and the initial visit went smoothly. Later, when the weather dropped, I discovered the way the line had been routed made it impossible to winterize my outdoor hose bib without also shutting off the fridge line — something that shouldn’t happen with proper setup. I contacted Prime again, and at first I was told the fix would cost over $600, which was disappointing given the issue came from the original configuration. (I believe this was just an internal communication issue.) However, they ultimately sent the same plumber, Sam, back out, and he corrected everything at no charge. He took full ownership of the oversight and handled the fix professionally and quickly. In the end, I appreciate that Prime stood behind their work, and Sam deserves real credit for making it right. Everything now functions exactly as it should.

Very good with communication. Service man was great and completed everything that needed to be done. As a first time customer I felt the cost was a bit too high for the job of putting 2 new toilet kits and cleaning out one clogged drain.

Our technician Dave was excellent beginning to end . He clearly explained our different options for our repair . Dave was exactly the kind of person we were seeking. We had minor problems with two toilets. Dave analyzed the situation, identified the problem and told us what the problem was, how to fix it and what it would cost. The cost was fair and appreciated.

We discovered we had a water leak while reflooring our home. We could not find the source of the leak. Dave came out and discovered the leak coming from bad tile grout in the shower. Educated me on leaks and fixed two faucets while he was here! 5 star service for sure.

It would have been completed sooner if the first technician came on time & prepared with the cartridge. I had to wait until the next morning for the second technicians Ernie &Hailey, who came prepared to complete the job,checked to make sure hot water came out,etc. all done within 35-45 min. The 5 stars go to them for expedient and complete service.

This is my 2nd experience with Prime Plumbing. The receptionist that took my call was pleasant. The plumbers that were dispatched were respectful of my home and were able to resolve all my issues, including one that I forget to mention when I called. They stayed pleasant and professional throughout. I highly recommend using this business.

We recently moved to an older home and needed to modernize our shut off valves for the main line into the home and for a hose bib. Also, added a pressure-reducing valve. Our plumbers, Ernie & Hailey were patient, thorough and efficient with the difficulties and quirks of an older home. They took their time to do the work correctly & to test everything afterwards. We are very grateful for their excellent work. Future water problems have been avoided in these areas. Highly recommend.

To have a new fridge installed I had to have the original valve and line replaced with a quarter turn valve. Paul from Prime Plumbing came and gave me an estimate on what the service would cost and about how long it would take to exchange and replace the existing fixture we had from the original builders. Paul was quick and efficient and we were able to hook up to our fridge with no issues or leaks. The price was also reasonable. We will definitely do business with Prime again in the future!

Paul was very professional and knowledgeable. He repaired the basement toliet which required installing a new flange because the old one was underneath the tile. He cleaned up the area and it smelled great. I will definitely use his services in the future.

Sam came to my house to install a new water heater. I needed a new one for some time , I was informed by Sam during an install of a new refrigerator/freezer. Sam gave me insight on what I would need during the install of the water heater at that time . I Couldn’t wait until I got on his schedule . Which was a treat He came in fully prepared and he started to dismantle and remove the older water heater , he started with the install on the brand new water heater he checked all of his work , everything looked fantastic, and worked perfectly He cleaned up everything very well. He gave me some insight on the Moen smart mater monitor , so I had him to install that too. That is a a great investment. Service was 5 Star. Everything went well.

I’m very happy with the service I received from Prime Plumbing. I got quotes from a few other companies, and they were all about $3,000 higher than Prime’s estimate. I even reached out to see if the others could match Prime’s price — and when they agreed, I knew Prime’s quote was fair and accurate. Tim was extremely helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly. He also understood my financial situation, especially since I had already spent money repairing the inside pipe. We had a minor backup in our townhouse sewer line after living there for 30+ years. We used the Howard County Checkbook to identify some candidate plumbing companies and decided on Prime Plumbing. Called left message that evening, heard back early next morning, and arrived quickly. Jason did a great job at clearing my backed-up drain and it didn’t take him long to do it. Now it’s draining good as new! He was very courteous, respectful and nice. Prime Plumbing has people with such wonderful attitudes!

Robert Richter and Anthony Grantland deserve a raise for dealing with our HOA. They were able to calmly and quickly work with them to get the external water shutoff so that they could replace the main water valve and PRC in a swift manner. Without them, I would have lost my mind dealing with the HOA with getting this work done. 5 stars out 5 will hire Prime again!

Came to fix leaking toilet from the tank. Long story short, to expensive to repair. Will buy new toilet from HD and have installed. Was charged $200, for call out service. Was misunderstood of cost. Was quoted $89 for call out diagnosis. Call out waived if work is done. No work done but charged $200.
